I’m Anthony Gold, and I’ve been very fortunate to have had great mentors and amazing colleagues over my career. All the good stuff I was able to accomplish was because of them. All the crappy stuff was through my own stupidity.
My goal with Anthony’s Desk is to share my lessons learned from entrepreneurship, building organizations, cultivating talent, developing productive habits, and my own personal growth.
I’ve had the great fortune of being a CEO, entrepreneur, startup investor, software developer, hardware engineer, and intern – and I’m still amazed that one of the supercomputers I architected is in the Guinness Book of World Records. I feel incredibly honored to have my work – including my most recent co-venture, ROAR for Good – featured in many publications including the Huffington Post, MTV News, Fortune, Brit+Co, Inc, Mashable, Bustle, Entrepreneur, New York Times, Fast Company, LifeHacker, and Discovery News.
I have the remarkable opportunity to guest speak at many events, including recently delivering the commencement address at the Penn State University School of Graduate Professional Studies. My lessons learned – and my desire to continually grow – form the basis of everything I write and speak about.
Topics include startups & entrepreneurship, social impact B-corporations, raising startup capital, successful crowdfunding, personal productivity, getting discovered, public speaking, career growth, lean startup, feminism & male allies in the business environment, philosophy, self-improvement, and empowerment.
I guess you could say these are my life and business lessons for achieving goals, transforming society, and living a fulfilling, impactful life.
